The research of Fabian Hartwig deals with the development and adaptation of a Smoothed-Particle-Hydrodynamic (SPH) approach for the calculation of multiphase flows in the sub-µm range. In addition to the calculation of the particle-based approach using SPH, the coupling with grid-based CFD and machine-learning approaches for the surrounding gas flow calculation is a subject of the research work.
